Have a Witchin’ Halloween

I always say that inspiration can come from anywhere. For this project, my inspiration came from an iPhone app!

This Witchin’ Halloween party invitation design was inspired by a design I saw in the Cuptakes iPhone wallpaper app. Cuptakes always has fabulous wallpaper designs for your iPhone and they add new designs every month. And one of their Halloween-themed wallpapers just had to be recreated with paper.

I used the now-retired Inviting stamp set for the sentiment and invitation panel. But you can easily use My Digital Studio or a word processing program on your computer to create a personalized invitation panel. Just type up what you want the invitation to say, print it out, and then cut using the Labels Collection Framelits Dies. A few images from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set help to decorate the invitation a little more.

Of course, every party needs some favors to give away. So I created these fun Witch Hat Party Favors to coordinate with the invitation.

These cute little party favors were actually published in the September/October 2012 Issue of Paper Crafts Magazine! It’s always so exciting to see my work in print.

Coming up: A project for my home.

Until next time…
