Rainbow Envie

Last year, Stampin’ Up! announced their Color Renovation, changing up the color collections and retiring quite a few colors that had been around for years. As a result of these huge changes to the Stampin’ Up! color collections, I was left with a huge stash of card stock in retired colors that I couldn’t really do much with. I didn’t want to use the card stock for projects on my blog since people wouldn’t be able to purchase those colors to recreate any projects. And I don’t really make cards just to make them and keep on hand. Throwing out the card stock was definitely out of the question. So what to do with a huge stack of perfectly good card stock in colors I couldn’t really use???

DESTASH! But not just any destash, where I would simply sell my overstock of paper. No…I couldn’t do that! I have to destash in style 😀 So instead of just offering up my old card stock as is, I turned that pile of colorful paper into a rainbow of mini envelopes…Rainbow Envie! And the result is really quite beautiful…and pretty useful to boot!

I grabbed my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, my envelope die, and got to work making a bunch of sets of miniature envelopes. I’ve got sets in every color of the rainbow…

By turning my old stash of card stock into these fun mini envelopes, I’m not just making a little more space in my craft room, but I now have a brand new product that I can offer in my Etsy shop! So if you’re in need of some colorful miniature envelope sets complete with 2″ x 2″ folded white inserts, make sure to stop by My Etsy Shop and pick up some Rainbow Envie sets! I’ll be listing sets over the next couple of days. And since this is a destash product, quantities are extremely limited! Snatch up the sets you want before they’re gone!

Do you have some card stock or scrapbook paper that you need to use up? Create your own mini envelope sets! The Bitty Box & Envelope Stampin’ Up! Bigz XL Die is perfect for quickly cutting out some mini envelopes, and even a fun little box to put your envelope sets in! Having these mini envelope sets is always handy. You’ll never be without a gift enclosure card or a gift in and of itself!
