Five Minute Flower Garden

It’s May! It’s May! And you know what that means! It means that the new Summer Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! is now live and all those beautiful new products are now available for purchase! There are so many fabulous new products in this mini, but let me share my personal new favorite with you. It’s an item I think everyone should have in their crafting collection. I’m talking about the new Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder! It’s a must have because not only is the imagery absolutely gorgeous, but it makes card-making easy breezy. For example:

I created a set of 6 cards (2 each of the three colors shown above) in no time. I just cut out my card bases, ran them through the Big Shot with my Flower Garden Embossing Folder, added a ribbon, and BAM! Beautiful cards in less than 5 minutes each! You can easily give these cards as is, but just in case a sentiment is necessary, I came up with a back up plan.

For those moments when a little phrase on the front is needed, I created a few quick sentiment panels using my Decorative Label Punch and some retired sentiment stamps (I know, I need to get some new ones!). The fun part is that I can mix and match the sentiment to any color card of my choosing, so I’m always prepared! And now I’m ready for Mother’s Day, too! 😀

This project is seriously so easy and I guarantee you’ll love how beautiful your cards look, even without all the layers! So make sure to add the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to your Summer Mini shopping list! And if you’re not a crafter, you can find this beautiful Flower Garden Card Set, complete with mix and match sentiment panels, in My Etsy Shop! Get a set of 6 embossed cards with envelopes for only $6.95!

Now, the Summer Mini isn’t the only exciting new thing about this month! Stampin’ Up! has a few other great promotions going on right now, so make sure to check out the Moose News portion of this blog post below, or visit the Promotions Page on My Stampin’ Up! Website.
