Owl Punch Awesomeness Part 1

I have to say it. I LOVE THE STAMPIN’ UP! OWL PUNCH! Seriously. I’d marry it. But I’m sure my husband wouldn’t really appreciate that…LOL. But really, the owl punch has quickly become one of my favorite SU! products, and the same rings true for many other demos and SU! customers. The reason it’s so popular? Well, it makes creating freaking adorable little owls super easy (just look at the cuteness on my popular Peek-a-Whooo Owl Cards!).  But it can also be used to create so many other things besides owls! For example…

Say “Hello!” to owl punch Rudolph! Isn’t he just adorable! Perfect for some simple holiday gift tags!

To create an owl punch Rudolph, all you need to do is punch out the main owl body, cut off the feet with paper snips, then add some eyes, a red nose, and cute little smile. Then add some antlers using an image stamped in the background (I used an image from the Playful Pieces hostess set) or using a piece from another punch (Tip: the snowflake punch works well for antlers!). Voila! Insta-Rudolph! It’s that easy! I used Swarovski crystal elements to make Rudolph’s nose on these gift tags. It is Rudolph after all, so his nose needs to sparkle!
