I love pretty much anything miniature. Maybe it’s because I’m on the small side myself (I’m barely 5’1″), but anything mini always catches my eye. I especially love mini stationery. I remember collecting (or trying to collect) the super mini stationery sets from Sanrio. Do you remember those? They came with little sheets of printed paper and envelopes that measured maybe 1″ x 1.5″. They even came with a teeny tiny pencil, all assembled in a cute little plastic portfolio case. I just loved jotting three or four word notes on a piece of that paper (I still had that huge elementary school writing at the time…lol) then putting it into the little envelope and giving it to a friend. But I’ll admit, I pretty much just hoarded all the stationery since it was too cute to give away. You might feel the same way about these cute little mini cards I just created.
I’ve been really loving the clean and simple look lately, so I made all of these as single layer cards. Just the card base and a stamp. That’s it. And I think they turned out perfectly. I especially loved the cards I made using the Silhouette Sentiments set (the first three sets shown) from Stampin’ Up! (Hostess Level 1). They are the perfect size for creating these 2″ x 2″ mini cards.
These mini card sets include 10 notecards each measuring 2″ x 2″. They come with matching envelopes too! You can purchase them for only $7.95 per set from My Etsy Shop!
