Say “Hello!” to my little friend! His name is Moosie!
You may have noticed his adorable little face poking around in my product photos. And he might highly resemble the adorable moose that is now the My Paper Moose logo! That’s because I had my logo designer, the amazing Susan of Logolane on Etsy, create a logo based on my felty friend, Moosie. I love Moosie so much that I want to dedicate an entire blog post to my cute little mascot!
Believe it or not, the story of Moosie actually began on Twitter. Etsy crafter Heidi started following my Scraps of Life Twitter account (@jnScrapsOfLife), and as I usually do, I checked out her Twitter profile and saw a peek at her uber adorable felt creations. So out of the blue, I asked her if she could make a moose for my new line, something I can include in my product photos. We exchanged a few messages, talked design, and a couple of weeks later, I met Moosie! And I couldn’t be happier with him! Heidi did such an amazing job with him that I turned his irresistible face into my logo (with Heidi’s permission, of course!). And I’m excited to show off Moosie’s face to the world 😀
But Moosie isn’t the only happy ending to this story. I’m also pleased to say that Heidi and I continue to keep in touch via Twitter. We have fun Twitter conversations every now and again, and I always enjoy checking out her newest felt creations. She seriously makes the cutest little felt items. Check out these adorable little felt owl magnets that I just couldn’t resist buying along with Moosie!
Super cute, right? So I want you all to visit Heidi’s Etsy shop right now and check out her latest felt cuties. She’s got some fabulous Halloween felties up there right now, along with some more owl cuteness. So visit Heidi’s shop now! You can find her HERE: Lizziboo Felt Creations. Also, make sure to follow her on Twitter too! She’s awesome! And if you’d like, you can follow me on Twitter too 😀 (@MyPaperMoose)
So to Susan and Heidi, thank you so much for your amazing work and for helping me create a fabulous branding image for My Paper Moose! I couldn’t have done it without you!
